This session will consist of the following:

  • 2025 AREC Required Course for Salespersons: Agency Representation and Compensation (3 credit hrs.)
    Associate Brokers can elect to take either of the 2025 required 3-hour courses for Brokers or Salespersons, but are encouraged to attend the Brokers course if they have aspirations of being a supervising broker.

  • Fair Housing: 1866 to the Present (3 credit hrs.) 
    This elective fulfills the NAR Realtor® Fair Housing requirement
  • Real Estate Safety (1 credit hr.)

Arkansas licensees must obtain seven hours (7) of continuing education annually to renew an active real estate license for the upcoming calendar year. NOTE: License renewal for the upcoming year must be completed by September 30th of the current year to avoid penalty. After, September 30th, renewal can be completed with a penalty assessed. If an active license is not renewed for the upcoming calendar year prior to December 31st  of the current year, the license will automatically become expired on January 1st.

A new broker must complete the 30 classroom hour AREC post-licensure course within 6 months after the date the individual was initially licensed. Newly licensed brokers requesting status as an Executive or Principal Broker must satisfy the post-licensure requirement before such status is granted.
