Getting Your License (3 weekend sessions) virtual via ZOOM - November 8

PLEASE NOTE: Course materials will be shipped at no cost to students whose shipping address is within a 35-mile radius of the school. Students who live outside of this 35-mile radius are required to pick up their course materials in person at the school. If you register within 3 business days of the course start date, you may not receive your materials by mail before the first class. In these cases, you will receive a PDF copy of the course materials to use until materials arrive.

In order to become a real estate salesperson, Arkansas resident requirements are:

1. Have reached the age of majority, eighteen (18).
2. Successfully complete sixty (60) classroom hours of real estate education of which thirty (30) classroom hours must be in the basic principles of real estate, from an accredited postsecondary school or a school or organization licensed by the Arkansas Real Estate Commission [ACA Sect. 17-42-303 and Commission Regulation 4.1];
3. Submit a salesperson application to the AREC including information required for State and Federal criminal background checks.
4. Receive approval to sit for the exam from the Arkansas Real Estate Commission.
5. Pass the licensure examination.
6. Send the proper forms and fees to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission no later than ninety (90) days after passing the examination.

This course meets for three consecutive weekends, 8:30 am - 6:30 pm on the following dates:

• November 8, 9
• November 15, 16
• November 22, 23

The "Getting Your License" Vivid course includes:

1. Textbook
2. Binder with additional course materials
3. FREE return to any future "Get Your License" course at Vivid for up to 10 hours for review (if space available).
